3.4 Turn on power to your heating and

cooling system

Congratulations!

You have completed the basic setup of

your new thermostat. It’s ready to use.

To read about additional thermostat features, continue to section 4.

1. Set the FAN switch to AUTO.

2. Set the SYSTEM switch to COOL (to turn on cooling) or HEAT (to

turn on heating).

Additional thermostat features

The thermostat can display a reminder when it is time to change the air

ﬁ lter on your heating and cooling system.

To enable Change Filter reminder:

1. Set SYSTEM switch to OFF position.

2. Press both the

buttons simultaneously two (2) times until you

see FILTER icon in the lower left corner of the display.

3. Using the

buttons select the number of hours until you would like

to be reminded of the ﬁ lter change. The hours increase in

increments of 50.

4. Move SYSTEM switch back to COOL or HEAT position when you

are ﬁ nished.

5. Once the set time has elapsed, FILTER will be displayed on

the screen.

6. Reset the reminder by pressing both

the

buttons simultaneously

when the FILTER is displayed.

When the thermostat displays

you need to replace batteries with 2 new AA alkaline batteries.
